Privacy Notice

A brief explanation of how we collect and use personal information.

Last updated 2 August 2026.

1. Who we are

CUDE Labs Ltd is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14766852. Our head office is STEAMhouse, Belmont Row, Birmingham, B4 7RQ, United Kingdom. Our registered office is 88 Dawberry Road, Birmingham, England, B14 6RY.

You can contact us about privacy matters at office@thecude.com.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • the details you submit through our enquiry form: first name, last name, work email, organisation (optional), the type of enquiry you select and the message you write;

  • information you include in any other correspondence, such as a briefing or pilot request;

  • limited technical information created automatically by our hosting provider when a page is served, such as IP address, user agent and the page requested, held in server logs for security and diagnostics;

  • records of our relationship with you, including meetings, proposals and business communications.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and arrange briefings or meetings;

  • assess and develop potential pilots, partnerships or investments;

  • operate, secure, monitor and improve our website;

  • maintain business records and manage our relationships;

  • protect our legal rights and prevent misuse or fraud; and

  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Our lawful bases

Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with a legal obligation, or for our legitimate interests in operating and developing our business, securing our systems and responding to professional enquiries. Where we ask for your consent, you are free to decline and may withdraw it at any time.

5. Who we share information with

Enquiries submitted through this website are transmitted to CUDE's own application, which handles delivery to the relevant team. Beyond that, we may share information with suppliers that help us provide website hosting, communications, security and professional services. We may also disclose information to advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies, potential investors or a purchaser of our business where reasonably necessary.

We do not sell personal information. Service providers may only use it for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate contractual controls.

6. International transfers

Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use an adequacy regulation or appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, where required.

7. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and business-contact records only for as long as needed for the purpose collected. As a general guide, unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are normally deleted or anonymised within 24 months. Records connected with a contract, legal requirement or dispute may be kept for longer.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set cookies, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies on it. Nothing is stored on your device beyond what your browser caches to display the pages.

If that changes we will update this notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any non-essential technology is used.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to processing, and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You also have an absolute right to object to direct marketing.

To exercise a right, email office@thecude.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
